— Coordinating Outfits —
The colors of your outfits play an important role into the outcome of our photo session.
This page will make this step easy on you, as I know it can be a bit overwhelming.
Tips to choose the right outfits
Most important: Mom, pick your outfit first! You deserve this.
Use the color wheel to create your palette (the closest colors or the opposite ones)
Pick 2-3 colors maximum
Don’t hesitate to add coordinated accessories like a scarf or jewelry
If necessary, add layers like a sweater or a blazer (color coordinated of course)
Choose neutral shoes
Choose comfortable, fitting clothes & shoes
Stay yourself, don’t overdo it
Consider your home decor if you’re planning on hanging your frames
Choose a similar style for everyone
What to avoid
For clothes:
Matching outfits
Logos, large patterns, writings
Shinny fabrics
Jersey knit fabric or so (can show undergarment lines)
Bright white (prefer ivory or light beige)
Neon colors
Uncomfortable items (you need to feel at ease)
For accessories:
Uncoordinated shoes
Never worn shoes
Over-large handbags
Mirror-like sunglasses
