Everything being written & said between you & your family and me during the preparation,
the photo session itself & the follow-up exchanges is private and will remain not be publicly released, neither by me or by you.
Our relationship is based on trust & I want you to know you can trust me.
What is a Lifestyle session?
A lifestyle photo session is special & unique. It’s about you, your family, your daily life.
It’s about you & your family members (pets included), being themselves in your real lives. No filters, no set-ups.
It’s about the little things.
These little things that you love.
The little things your kids will remember as grown-ups.
The little things you will miss one day.
And more than anything else, it’s about connections.
Your connections as a family, as parents, as siblings.
It’s photographing your family life in your home in a documentary way, during normal moments.
❤️ Because this is the life you live, it’s the life you love, it’s the life you & your kids will remember ❤️.
Before the session
Which moment of the day?
First, I’d like you to think about the moments in your everyday life that you cherish the most, that you want to be captured.
Here are some ideas:
Sunday breakfast as you got help from the kids & it gets messy so that’s all fun & laughters,
Bath time with toys, bubbles, screams & smiles,
Reading time as you just love when you look at youngest listening to his dad reading his favorite story,
Nap time when your little one looks like an angel,
Play time when you loose on purpose to make them feel good,
Cooking time.
To help you in another way: think about the connections you want to remember in 10, 20, 30 years.

Let’s pick a date!
I know family life in Istanbul can be quite hectic. It will remain this way so let’s consider this as the normal context :D!
If a normal Saturday includes a tired dad as he came back late the previous night from a business trip or the visit of your oldest’s best friend to play, it’s perfectly fine.
Just make sure you don’t have an important appointment after the session so there will be no stress.
The idea is to have this kind of normal family moments, full of connections.
This is about real life, including laughs, kids jumping on the couch, having chocolate in our faces or even crying as their sibling stole their favorite toy.
What to wear?
Again, this is up to you :).
You can dress just like you do everyday. That option is easy as it doesn’t require any extra thinking :).
You can also tend to color coordinate the family outfits. I do recommend this option.
Coordinating doesn’t mean matching the outfits, it’s about creating a color harmony.
Pro tip for Moms: pick YOUR outfit first! The one you love & that gets you tons of compliments!

The most important thing:
Your outfits shouldn’t prevent you from doing anything you’d normally do.
Is “normal” boring?
Do you smile at an old couple holding hands when walking in the street?
Do you smile at a baby babbling at her mother?
Do you smiling at siblings picking on each other for fun?
These moments are touching. Because we see something there: we see connections & they are authentic!
It’s exactly the same for your normal life: it’s full of connections.
We might not realize how touching normal moments can be, as we see them everyday.
That’s what you will remember of the times your kids were kids.
That’s what they will remember of their childhood.
And it’s all coming down to one thing: your connections.
Anything to prepare? Yes!
Your home
If you like your home to be tied up a bit, please do so, that’s fine.
If you like your home just the way it is, that’s just fine too.
Our motto: do it the way you want! There will be no judgement from me.
Your kid(s)
Let them know I’ll come & what I’ll do.
Some help from you
I’d love to hear about is what is usually happening in your routine, to make sure I don’t miss any important moment!
So please tell me:

- With who?
- When do the special connections happen?
To be able to play with the light, I need your help:
- When do you notice the sunlight comes into your home?
- In which room?
- Which places of your home you love the most & Why?

Payment & Rush fee
The payment is due on the day of the session - in cash.
I do accept money transfers to my French bank account (euros) or to my Garanti Turkish bank account (euros or dollars) as far as the fees are paid on your side.
Western Union is also an (cheap) option. You might need to give a call to WU to confirm your transfer.
If you choose to transfer money another way, fees might be paid on both sides. If so, the missing amount will remain due.
If you need your images within less than 1 week, the extra fee is 70 €.
I might not always be able to provide this extra service.
Force majeure & Sickness
If a family member is sick on the day of our photo session, we will of course postpone it. We all need to be in a great shape to have a great time together!
In case of force majeure & strong sickness, I reserve the right to postpone or cancel the photo session.
The cancellation will not engage my responsibility & therefore it will not lead to any financial compensation.
If the payment has already been done, I will reimburse you.
I will always do my very best to offer new potential dates & to organize another photo session or to find another photographer to substitute for me.
Their fees & services may be different than mine, as well as their style.
During the session
What do we do?
The preparation for the session is important: you’ll have nothing to worry about on the D day as everything is planned ahead.
The main idea of a photo session with me is to have a lovely family quality time.
So let’s have fun, let’s enjoy the moment, laugh, hug, kiss!
Love & happiness are what you want to see in your family pictures, now & 20 years from now!
You’ll have a wonderful experience, believe me!
Kids will always be kids
As far as they stay safe, I will photograph your kids acting silly, laughing, screaming or crying.
That’s what their lives are made of & that how you know them, how you will remember them.
Be yourselves!
This kind of photo session is not about posing.
It’s not about doing something the « right » way.
No pressure, no stress. It will be fun & relax! And yes, messy too!
“I’m not comfortable in front of the camera”
That’s the great thing about working with me during a Lifestyle photo session: you will forget about me & I will capture you at your best.
You will be yourself, you won’t pose, you won’t be anything you’re not used to.
I’ll capture your life as normal as possible.
As I love playing with the light, I might ask you to sit here or play there. Then, I’ll let you enjoy the moment.
If there is something you are self-conscious about, please let me know during our call.
I’ll do my very best to capture you under the best light.
After the session
Your Online Gallery
You will receive a special email to your private online gallery, within 3 weeks after the session.
Thanks to this gallery, you’ll be able to:

📲 Download the images on your computer, your phone & on your dropbox.

In my offers, 25 portraits are included.
You can choose them from the Colors tab & from the B&W tab.
I will make a custom-made offer for you to receive ALL the portraits.
Your Prints & Frames
Portraits are created to be printed out, not to stay on a hard drive within the possibility of getting lost forever.
A decade ago, we wouldn’t even think not to develop our films: a picture was A THING!
Nowadays, our photos are digital.
It does take time & effort to get them printed out, so we end up doing nothing.
I know as I have hundreds of untouched photos of my now 3-year old son on my hard drive 🤦🏻♀️😧.
The experience of looking at a photo album or a framed picture is incredible. It does evoke memories.
Looking at a screen isn’t just the same.
This is why a framed photo is included in my standard offer & why I propose to handle prints & photo albums.
Just pick your favorite pictures & rest. I’ll take care of the rest.
Afterwards
Copywrite & Print release
The copyright is owned by the person who creates the work. From the second I snap an image, it legally belongs to me, as the photographer, unless I sign it away otherwise, giving me the exclusive rights to determine how the image should be displayed & distributed. I am also the only person who can make alterations to my work. Since my name is associated with the images, I want to have complete control of how they look to ensure they are in line with my photography style that you are hiring me for.
The print release is different in that it gives you the permission to reproduce my images for your own personal use. If you want to make prints, canvases, albums using a source other than me, you are more than welcome to do that, but cannot use them for commercial reasons. For example, if you were approached by an editor of a magazine who wanted to buy your brand new family profile picture for the cover of their next edition, you would have to decline as they are not yours to sell.
To sum up, with the print release included in my offers:
✅ You can:
- Post them on all forms of social medias
- Print an unlimited amount of them in any form (photo, canvas, album, t-shirt, etc.)
- Share them with your family so they can do the same!
⛔️ You cannot:
- Edit or alter the images in any way, including cropping and filters.
- Claim the work as your own.
- Use the images for commercial gain.

on my website & social medias
I update my website regularly & post my work on social medias. I will love to share your beautiful portraits to promote my work.
If you don’t want me to share some of your images, please let me know.
Please tag my account or my name when you will share your portraits on social medias, it always makes me happy 🥰…. and it helps your friends to know who created these lovely photos of you.
Responsibilities
Better be safe that sorry!
I ensure my clients to back up the files in high resolution during 1 year (except in case of unexpected disaster like fire, flood, damaged computer and / or hard drive).
If you loose your files & want them again, I will ask a 30€ fee to create a new online gallery.
1 year after your session, my digital back-up is not guaranteed anymore & the files can be deleted at any moment. I will send you a note before I delete anything to make sure everything is safe on your side.
I strongly recommend to save these files on 2 external hard drives & on 2 clouds.
